a little overkill for round here.... but i bet it handles the parking lot speedbumps at the mall like a champ :p

The absolute best part is the straight up Lexus beige paint...

I have secretly wanted a rig with a snorkel ever since:

Yup.

Those tires have never and will never see dirt.

Snorkel + mud tires + running boards that are unscratched.
Is that snorkel even hooked up?

Seems to be an awful lot of hate in the comments, I guess I missed the rule that if you put a couple functional off road mods on your rig you must also kick the shit out of it to prove that you wheel. Plates show this truck is in Europe, maybe the owner takes trips to Africa. Snorkels are more for putting the air intake up out of your own dust than fording hood deep water(though they mean you won’t be totally screwed if you misjudge a crossing), aggressive tires are the best mod you can have for unimproved roads in a place known for sudden downpours. Smarter first mods with less bling than an ARB bull bar and winch you’ll use twice ever.

lol.. eh.. i dont hate it.. it caught my attention for sure.... its pretty silly for where it is tho
also trips to africa is unlikely... possible... but thats a damn long drive from here
tbh i think the owner just likes the look... and thats a-ok

I do now, I guess!

Well, they did a great job of choosing function-before-bling in both off-road vehicle and mod choice for someone doing it for the look.

People probably think the same about my van when it’s clean. Then we go out fishing, help a stuck Jeep out, and come back like this:

Dude, after that last trip driving back and forth on the highway
instead of the bumpy gravel
you have little ‘dirt’ to throw..

Someone took a holesaw to their shiny Lexus
fender.. That’s hardcore
enough for me.

lol... i never noticed you had a snorkel too
yup..its a little overkill :p... but you probably have more scenery round you than me.... its flat here and you wont find much worse than a sandy trail off road
the truck sure stands out tho... it also has a knock coming off the front end (it passed me earlier) would worry me if it was mine

If you’d seen where I’ve taken it, you’d know it wasn’t overkill. ;)

I fully intend on snorkeling my GX once I figure out a reason that my wife will believe
/Not my picture

fuel efficiency.... having the intake that high up means its not sucking in dirty exhaust fumes from all the cars in front of you.. cleaner air.. cleaner combustion
everybody knows that

Ouch!

Seeing a lot of overland rigs in Silicon Valley. I was beginning to think it was a fashion trend, but wrote it off as being too cynical. But I do look forward to picking up a cheap rooftop tent in about 3 years...
